The 127th. Annual Lincolnshire Agricultural Show takes place on the 22nd. and 23rd. June 2011.
Please find attached copies of the 2011 annual honey show schedule and entry forms. Could you please distribute to your members either by email or in some cases individuals may require hard copies, I would like to distribute with the Quarterly Review but Phill has explained it is not as simple as simply including it with the print, so the next best is to pass to you all and allow you to distribute freely. Download and print copies are also available from the Lincolnshire beekeepers website.
or the Lincolnshire show ground website under the countryside area
Please ask and encourage members to get involved both in competing, there are penty of classes to enter there are no entry fees, details of how to enter and who to contact are in the schedule, or may be helping to present the show, we are always in need of helping hands both to set up on the Sunday or Tuesday prior to the show or the show days Wednesday and Thursday, access passes or show tickets are available as required, as usual on the basis a ticket for each day the volunteer helps for two shifts (usually each shift is 2 hours each in duration) so a day pass in return for half a days work. Members may also wish to know they can sell honey or wax products at the show, honey either 1lb. or 12oz. jars cut comb or sections well presented and correctly labelled, all produce is sold on the basis that you get what you want for it and “we” the honey show add 25% to raise funds toward the expense of running the show.
Any one wishing to help should contact (email) Richard Harrison or phone 01652 678650 giving details of when they will be able to help.
